Joe was really great to meet and talk to. He gave good advise about getting started in the industry and how Utah needs more writers. He also said that if you want to make your own film, don't try to raise the money yourself. Find and pay someone to raise the money for you, its worth their commission and you can get more money that way for your project.
I was able to stay in touch with Joe and he helped me get involved with Don Verden for a day. He also said that I could use him as a reference on my resume. I hope I get the chance to work with him again.
